myMaxMuscle

myMaxMuscle was a massive social networking project done for Max Muscle Sports Nutrition through Carr Knowledge. Using the existing myMaxMuscle merely as a conceptual beginning point, I rebuilt the platform entirely from scratch using my own custom framework.

The site features:

• Advanced private messaging
• Friends lists
• Notification of friend activity
• Email notification of activity / messages
• Photos and journals
• User comments and notification of comments

The also has unlimited potential for add-ons. Current add-ons, all of which developed by me, include:

• The MaxFormation Life Challenge
  MaxFormation is a six-month contest where users register, purchase Max Muscle products, and attempt to change their bodies, health, and lives. Users keep track of their progress by entering regular weight measurements with photos, as well as keeping track of their goals. They are given a graph that shows their progress, from their starting point, to their target weight, over time.
  
  At the end of the challenge, a panel of judges chooses the best candidate based on specified criteria and best improvement, who is awarded the grand prize of $20,000.
• Max Muscle Achievement Awards
  These contests allow users to enter a simple single photo of various muscles. Each month, a different contest is held, for a different part of the body. It began with "Best Abs in America", then "Best Glutes", then "Best Legs", and so on.
  
  Users can vote on who they think has the best entry. After the voting process ends, a panel of judges casts their vote, and the final winner is selected. The winner receives a $1,000 cash prize.
